The originator of the modern bad-boy in the fashion industry, Jean Paul Gaultier has lately toned things down, culling his repertoire to essentials like suiting (albeit with drawstring pants, glazed-linen fabrics, or button- and lapel-less jackets) and new interpretations of his signature horizontal stripes. Having said that, the outlandish feel in his clothes can still be seen.
